Data Lake Icon: Visual Reference

Data Lake Icon

If you were looking for some data lake icons or data lake logos, our creative team created a few for Openbridge.

Data Lake Icons

In terms of consistent visual representations of a data lake, we were not happy with what was available. Rather than create a unique AWS data lake icon or an Azure data lake icon, we wanted these to apply generally across all platforms. As a result, we created a set of icons that reflect a data lake conceptually.

We included a modified icon that reflects our data lake formation process:

Data Lake Icons Use Cases

The following are some examples of how the icons are used Openbridge:

Using the icon in animation in a data lake introduction visual block

Using the icon in the “what is a data lake” page header

Using the icon in the “why data lake?” graphic

Using the task icon to describe formation & architecting data lakes

Looking for data lake providers or a data lake roadmap?

If you are looking for icons or logos because you are exploring data lake formation, architecture, or analytics take a look at “What is a data lake?”.

If you are getting conflicting advice about lakes, data swamps, data lake vs data warehouse, we break down numerous misconceptions and myths about data lakes.

Building a data lake platform, or data lake infrastructure is hard work. Whether you are a team of one or a group of 100, the last thing you need is to fly blind, and get stuck with self-service (aka, no service) solutions.

It has never been easier to take advantage of an “analytics-ready” data lake using Azure Data Lake Storage, Amazon Athena, or Redshift Spectrum. Our data lake formation service optimizes and automates the configuration, processing, and loading of data to target destinations.

Openbridge delivers an open, on-demand data lake strategy that delivers a platform that allows you to run queries directly against your raw structured and unstructured data from a wide variety of tools like Tableau, Microsoft Power BI, Looker, Amazon Quicksight, and many others.

Architecting data lakes this way gives you access and consumption flexibility to undertake analysis with your preferred ELT/ETL, data science, BI, or query tools.
